Please understand, that due to lots of requests I can not guarantee any time slots shown in the above scheduler, as long as I confirm it to you. For the best experience, I recommend a good headset or headphones with microphone. I prefer Telegram or Signal for the video meeting. GREAT, BUT WHO ARE YOU?
Hi, I'm Daniel - native German speaker and tutor since 2013 - offering German online lessons for English speaking kids 9+, teens & adults.
My mission is to help English speakers from around the world with their German conversational skills in a 100 % interactive way.
And the way I love to teach is completely different then most of us got used from school, so I'm a convinced self-taught tutor.
OK, SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
With me you are going to watch, listen and speak native German by deconstructing German sentences from English into German while watching fun YouTube videos step-by-step. To name just a few: Phil Laude, IratschTV, Freshtorge, Fritz Meinecke, Julien Bam, DAVE, Tomary... it really depends on which topics you are most interested in!
Our goal is to understand how the language works, without the need of going over specific vocabulary and without using any confusing Latin grammar terms. Instead I'll explain everything in simple English to you with so called "mnemonics" or "memory helpers".
NO LATIN GRAMMAR TERMS?
That's right. In just a few hours of practising we will stumble upon the most frequently used words and you will understand the common language patterns without bothering about grammar terms.
I will write down everything for you in real time on a simple and easy to read notepad, so all you need to get started is your (English) brain to think and your mouth to speak with me.
No worries, we can start from total scratch, even if you didn't speak any German word before in your life. I'll help you with your pronunciation and understanding of German until you "know how it works".
